Tucked in a charming corner of Singapore’s Keong Saik enclave since 2017, Bar Cicheti honours the tradition of a daily Italian meal—pasta and wine—with a homegrown authenticity to match. The first of its kind in Singapore (with a fresh makeover in 2024), handmade pasta and gutsy wines are placed on the same pedestal, complementing each other while functioning as the guts and heart of the restaurant.
Fresh, handmade pasta dripping in big, bold flavours, with comforting classics that are always scrumptious. From Cacio e Pepe made using rigatoni that’s first charred on the grill for a kiss of smoke, to arrabbiata sauce lovingly made using roasted whole peeled tomatoes—right down to the oozing juices—we dial back on the bells and whistles to give you a whole lot of oomph in its place.
